DELAWARE, N.J. (AP) New Jersey developer Vestar Development announced Tuesday it will make a $10 million donation to the state’s Department of Education to help pay for a third company developing a technology to help students with disabilities read more.

The company, Vestar Education, will begin developing the software, called Vestar Smart Reader, in 2019.

The donations, which vest in the first quarter of 2019, are being made in the form of grants that vest over four years.

The money will go toward paying for the development and distribution of the technology, the company said in a statement.

The software will help students read books by their teachers and improve literacy and numeracy skills.

Vestar’s funding comes as technology companies such as Apple Inc. and Inc. are making strides to provide digital services that can be accessed from home and at school.

Vestar is not among them.

“This is a game changer,” Vestar President John Dennison said in an interview.

“I am very pleased to see Vestar and other companies like Vestar make this kind of contribution.”

Dennison is president of the New Jersey Association of School Administrators.

The group is working with the school district on developing a school digital service that will allow students to access online resources from home.

Dennion said Vestar hopes to offer the service by the end of 2020.

He expects the service to be more comprehensive than the iPad or Kindle, and that it will be accessible to students who cannot access the Internet through the internet’s current infrastructure.

He said the service will help families with children with disabilities understand what to do to improve their reading skills.

The Vestar project has been under development for more than a decade, but Dennion and other Vestar executives said the company is now able to deliver the technology quickly and cheaply to students.

The company has already helped students learn more than 300 languages, and the technology can be used to enhance reading and writing skills, Dennionsaid.

The technology also could be useful for teachers.

Teachers can now access books and videos from the internet on the vestar website and in classrooms, said Dennisonsaid.

The system can be customized to suit a student’s needs, he said.

It is a great opportunity for us.”
