Delaware startup website developer Chris Peters is building a tool for building a website in a matter of weeks.
Peters, who is based in Washington, DC, says the tool will enable anyone to quickly and easily build a website that anyone can edit, add comments, and publish.
He describes the tool as “the best way to automate website development,” adding that the tools will also “enable anyone to build an online presence” without having to spend years working in-house.
Peters says he started developing the tool in June, after a startup he was working on had a similar idea.
The site has been in the works for three months and is currently available to users for free, he says.
“It’s not the first time a startup is trying to build a platform for building websites,” he says, adding that it’s “pretty rare for anyone to create a website and it’s pretty common to have to build it.”
Peters says the website builder he’s building has been working on the tool for a while and has used it on a number of projects.
Peters recently launched a service that will help people get started with his tool and says that he expects it will be a popular one for the time being.
“There are a lot of other tools out there that are built on the same idea, but it’s really nice to have this one in the wild,” he tells TechCrunch.
The website builder Peters built for his own company is a fairly simple one.
He first uses the tool to create his site’s structure.
He then adds various fields, like the title, description, and more.
He tells TechBuffers that he initially intended for his site to look something like this: “Welcome to my online company.”
It’s pretty straightforward.
The first thing to notice about the site builder is that the first two columns are the same as the title and description columns of the website.
Peters adds that the “title” and “description” columns are simply the text fields, which can be used to add or remove text from the page.
“We can put whatever text we want in those fields, but they have no styling,” he explains.
He says that in his first version of the site, he used the same layout for each column, but he quickly realized that it would have been too cumbersome to write out each section individually.
He decided to make each column of text a bit smaller and to use the layout as a guide.
Peters then adds comments to the site’s header.
He explains that comments are “a little bit like tags, except you can put any text you want in the comments.”
When a user adds a comment to a page, he or she can click the icon next to the comment in the toolbar and a new link appears that says “Comment.”
After clicking on that, the user can click “Save,” and the comments are added to the page, Peters explains.
Peters explains that it works like this because “tags are an object that you add to a website, so we have to use tags in this way.”
The “save” button is used to save the comments to a file.
“Tags are an element in HTML that can be attached to a text element,” he adds.
The comments are automatically uploaded to the WordPress dashboard.
Peters also notes that WordPress is a popular blogging platform.
“WordPress is a very popular blogging site because of its easy to use interface and its free,” he notes.
Peters has been building websites for more than a decade and is a certified WordPress expert, which means that his website can handle WordPress’s features.
“I’m very happy with the way it’s been built,” Peters says.
Peters said he and his team have been using WordPress for three years and have built about 50 websites.
He adds that he’s been “building more and more websites” for his company.
He also notes, however, that he has no plans to release the site to the public.
“At this point, I’m not planning to release it to the general public,” Peters explains, adding, “I want it to be a tool that helps people create websites.”
Peters is working on his own website for his team, but Peters hopes to launch the tool “so I can focus on my other business.”
He says he’s planning to build the tool with a team of six people, so he’s also looking to hire a full-time website developer.
For now, he is using the tool on a small team of about five people.
